We took an overnight bus, only to arrive to unrelenting rain at 7 am, and remained cold and wet until the next morning…when the sun came out, and there was a thick layer of fresh snow on top of Uetliberg, the “mountain” on the outskirts of the city.

We accidentally set the bread basket on fire at a fondue place.

There was also a super cool temporary art exhibit by a Swiss artist named Pipilotti Rist, called “Your Saliva is my Diving Suit in the Ocean of Pain,” which combined traditional art and everyday objects with projections, videos, and sounds in this giant, dark room.
